A lot changes in time. One minute your in high-school and you know exactly how your life is going to go, you know who your going to marry, and have kids with, right down to where your going to live.

But things dont always work out that way, in fact they rarely do. Sometimes i think that I have had a tough break, from 2004 to 2009, but then i think about people who have had it way worse than me, the people who dont even see whats right in front of them, and never will, or the people who are not there for their own children, and of course, the soldiers and their families! My life could be way worse than this, I've made it through before, im a strong woman and i WILL make it.

I have been missing the past a lot lately....my bestie melissa (RIP, girl) I will forever remember her laugh and her infectious smile. I will always wonder what she thinks of my life and of the person that i have become, after all it is because of how she was to people that I try to befriend everyone i can.

I miss her more everyday, and yes it has gotten more bearable, but never easier, especially when I hear that song we loved, or im driving down a dirt road and the sun is setting, those were are back road adventure times. and they will never forget us.

I miss you Melissa Ann Newton. I love you so much.
